Micron ERP is offered on a subscription basis. All plans include a free 1-month trial so you can explore the platform before committing.

For very small schools or schools exploring the platform. Up to 50 students.

Standard

For small to mid-size schools. Up to 500 students. Includes HR & Payroll.

Premium

For large schools and school chains. Unlimited students. Priority support.

SMS and email credits are included monthly with your plan. Additional credits can be purchased top-up style from Settings → Notification Credits at any time.

Free Trial

When you first sign up, you automatically start a 30-day free trial on the Premium plan — giving you access to all features. No credit card is required during the trial. During the trial:
  • All modules are available
  • Student limit is 200 (trial cap)
  • You can invite up to 20 staff members
At the end of the trial, you are asked to choose a plan. If you do not upgrade, your account moves to the Free plan and is limited to 50 students.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing (or click the Upgrade banner shown when you approach student limits)
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the plan you want
  4. Choose billing cycle: Monthly or Annually (annual plans offer ~15% discount)
  5. Click Proceed to Payment
  6. You are redirected to Razorpay’s secure checkout
  7. Complete payment via UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card
  8. On success, your plan upgrades immediately
Annual billing is significantly cheaper and means you do not need to worry about monthly renewals. Recommended for schools that plan to use Micron long-term.

Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Current Plan and Usage

Go to Settings → Billing to see:
  • Your current plan name
  • Subscription renewal date
  • Current student count vs. plan limit
  • Staff account count vs. plan limit
  • SMS and email credit balance for this month

Changing Plan

You can upgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle (you keep the current plan features until then). To downgrade:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Change Plan
  2. Select a lower plan
  3. Confirm — the plan change is scheduled for the renewal date
Downgrading to a plan with a lower student limit requires that your active student count is within the new limit first. You must deactivate the excess students before the downgrade takes effect.

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm
Your school retains access until the end of the current paid period. After that, the account moves to the Free plan (50 student limit). All data is retained — nothing is deleted on cancellation.

Invoices and Receipts

All payment receipts are available under Settings → Billing → Payment History. Each entry includes:
  • Date and amount paid
  • Plan name and billing period
  • GST details (18% GST is applied on all plans)
  • Download PDF receipt

GST and Pricing

All Micron ERP subscription prices are exclusive of GST. 18% GST is added at checkout. An official GST invoice is generated for each payment and available for download from your Billing page. If your school needs to register a GST number for input credit, enter it under Settings → Billing → GST Details before making the next payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a long-term contract? No. Micron ERP is month-to-month (or annual if you choose). There is no lock-in. You can cancel at any time. What happens to our data if we stop paying? On downgrade to Free plan, your data is retained. If you exceed Free plan limits (50 students), the system will prompt you to upgrade but will not delete data. Data is retained for at least 12 months after account inactivity before permanent deletion, and you will be notified before any deletion. Can we get a discount for multiple school branches? Yes. If you are managing multiple schools or a chain of schools, contact us at support for a multi-school pricing quote. Do unused SMS/email credits carry over to the next month? Plan-included credits reset monthly and do not carry over. However, credits purchased as top-ups (additional purchases beyond the plan allowance) do not expire and carry over indefinitely.
